Health CheckCherokee happy and healthy

You will be amazed at some of these signs of Mineral Imbalances and/or Toxicity. Some you would never associate with diet! Symptoms come and go - some symptoms are COMMON,This doesn’t mean they are NORMAL!

Many of you will be thinking: “But lots of these are just ‘people’ problems”. I used to think that too but you’ll find a few simple diet changes will reduce these issues significantly or eliminate them altogether without treatments or ‘working through any issues’ whatsoever.

The major mineral imbalance comes from too much potassium, nitrates and not enough sodium, calcium and magnesium.

Download the Calm Healthy Horses CheckList and note the symptoms your horse displays.

Introduce the nutritional changes that we recommend on this site and check this again 1 month, and again at 2 months later, If you follow our dietary changes and feed the correct supplements, we guarantee you will notice huge changes for the better!

Our recommendation is that you DO NOT RIDE your horse until the symptoms subside. Some horses become extremely dangerous when they are 'grass Affected'. They can NOT help behaving in this manner - it is NOT THEIR FAULT!!! so Please do NOT try to 'work them through it'.

Make a note of the type of grass/hay your horse is on, the season, which ProvideIt products you are feeding and what hard feed you are feeding. Also ensure you are adding SALT to your horses feed every day. Take photographs and /or video if possible of your horses condition and also of them at work/play.

This is Persil Beaucoup when he was extremely grass affected...

persil grass affected
Although his physical condition from point of view of coat glow and weight, looks terrific, thanks to having been on the Premium NZ Horse Minerals, as you can see in the picture at the top of this page, his muscles are very tight, he is short stepping, his head is up and his back is hollow- all this without even a rider on his back!

He also had diarrhoea, and was extremely spooky. All classic signs of being Grass Affected. No wonder with all that short green grass with loads of white sub terrainian clover he is on here.

At this stage he had been on the Premium NZ Horse Minerals, AlleviateC and salt for about 2 months. This brought his condition up from extremely poor to looking terrific - especially considering he is in his mid twenties! However it was not long enough yet to work on the other symptoms.

We added GrazeEzy to this mix and the resultsPersil now were astonishing - another few weeks and now Persil is a very chilled horse who these days is enjoying being an Uncle to our ProvideIt Ambassador Lord LubbaDuck (Zephyr).

This is a recent (oct 2014) picture of Persil now aged 29 years playing with Zephyr (aged 2). Persil is a picture of health.
